Triple threat Selena Gomez is now making another one of her dreams a reality.

Fresh out of her performance last week on Dancing with the Stars, where she sang her latest single “Hit the Lights,” Gomez is finally confirming she is releasing her first Spanish-language album.

Fans have long been awaiting a Spanish-language record from the Latina singer, who for the past few months has been focusing on her acting career.

In a recent interview with hollywoodlife.com, Gomez confirmed that the Spanish-language album is not only in the works but is actually finished–although a release date has not been set.

“It’s at an in-between stage, because I still want to put out a fourth record and also the Spanish record,” Gomez told the site.

“So it’s just all timing. I have a few other songs to do and it will come out. I promise.”

Releasing a full-length Spanish-language album has been a lifelong dream for Gomez.

After releasing the single “A Year Without Rain” in 2010 in English as well as in Spanish, under the title “Un año sin lluvia,” the star told the Associated Press that her “dream would be to have an entire album in Spanish” but thinks it’s best to begin by releasing individual singles in Spanish because “it would be good practice.”

Gomez went on to tell AP how she lost her Spanish when she began attending school, but that she is more than willing to learn it again to avoid a disconnect “with our audience.”

It was in 2007 after attending and witnessing other Latina actresses proudly representing their Hispanic roots at the The National Council of La Raza’s, “American Latino Media Arts Award” (ALMA) ceremony that the star re-connected with her Mexican culture.

Hollywood actor-singer Selena Gomez has urged her fans to donate to the latest Unicef campaign to help starving children in Africa. Gomez, 19, has served as an ambassador for the organisation since 2009, and also filmed an emotional appeal for help in the Sahel region, which is
experiencing severe drought, leaving families without food, reports dailystar.co.uk. “Right now, more than a million children could die in the Sahel region of west and central Africa. Crops have failed in eight drought-hit countries, leaving families with almost nothing to eat. Children are especially vulnerable when they don’t get the nutrition they need,” Gomez said in a video.

“Unicef urgently needs your help to buy therapeutic food and medicine to treat the most sick and malnourished children. It can save their lives. Please help right now. I did, will you?” she further said. She even tweeted: “We must save kids in the Sahel Now
